Hi lovelies!
Christmas is just around the corner and we all run to be ready on time! I have a card idea to share with you guys today! Every one of us needs a backup card series just in case, and this model is very unique and pretty! I used the new Squirts to do this one, but you can use sprays or magical powders if you prefer, it’s really up to you!
First of all, you need a watercolor paper, a chipboard or wood veneer shape, a paint brush and your favorite color of Lindy’s!
I choose a wood veneer, the pale color of wood doesn’t need to have gesso on it before coloring. I used my squirt Poutine Gold directly on it and let it air dry while creating a background.
On watercolor paper that I cut into 4,75″ x 4,75″ I painted on Oh Canada Crimson squirt. I made a couple of brush stripes and I love how it looks once dry.
I stamped a Christmas quote with black ink.
Right on the middle of the paper, I embossed a gorgeous snowflake with Purely White powder.
Then I glued my deer head and I made him a cute crown with tiny flowers.
I painted some die cuts with Emerald Eh?! squirt and added these to the crown.
Let me show you the final result.
And the blue and purple version I made for our monthly challenge
