Hi everyone, I am Jana and this is my first post on the Lindy´s blog and I am very excited to share this layout with you. This was my Design Team Call project and I really had a lot of fun creating it.
You can watch this layout coming together in the process video I have made for you all.
I started with priming my white cardstock with a layer of gesso after that was dry I started to create my mixed media background. I used the magical powder Ponderosa pines olive first, I wanted to pick the green from my picture. I quickly decided that I needed a second color and I went with a dark one; magical powder Midnight rendezvous.
I punched out some leaves from watercolor paper and I colored them with a mix from different magical powders. I started with Bodacious blush and Karin’s coral, added a touch of Cape cod coral and finished some of them with a touch of the Midnight rendezvous powder. I love how the colors are working together…
I added some black butterfly stamps on my background and also fussy cut some moths out from a patterned paper. The white leaves are made out of a paperphine thread. They are the perfect touch. There is also some black thread between some of the leaves. I love to add some thread between my layers.
You can also spy some white enamel dots here. I added the white little details to bring back some of the light that is showing on the photo. I really love how this layout turned out and I hope that you´re inspired to create today!
