Hi everyone, welcome back to the blog today. Jana here with you and i have a fun new layout to share.

I got the awesome new You Rock! Embossing Powders and i really love the chunky bits and pieces in it. I wanted to create some fake stones out of cardboard with heat embossing on top.
The cardboard was to thick to get enough heat from underneath for melting the powder. So i worked with a few layers. I dipped the melted layer in the EP and heat embossed it again. That worked perfectly fine and i love how my fake stones turned out.
You can see my little stone wall peeking out from behind. I worked with three different EP´s from the You Rock! Set. My background was primed with gesso and some crackle paste. I picked the colors from my photo and decided to work with the following.
Starburst Spray – Tibetan Poppy Teal, Moon Shadow Mist – Buccaneer Bay Blue and Magical Opal Sea Oats! Love the combination of these colors.
I also heat embossed the globe, i used the Midnight Bronze EP from the Sweet Treats Set. You can find all of the used colors in my picture. I really love that blue door and that cute little boy!
I layered some patterned paper and did some fussy cutting for the leaves. I added some thread underneath some of them. The word “wonder” works for my title here and i added some heavy gesso on top just because the word was bright green and was not matching my colors.
My final touches were some more splatters and little enamel dots/hearts. I really love how this layout turned out and had so much fun!
