Hey there Gang!
I recently had a friend celebrate a significant birthday and I wanted to make her a special card – actually – truth be told, she probably would have given me a hard time if I didn’t! I wanted to make her something pretty and girly but didn’t have a lot of time on my hands.
I pulled out a few pretty pinks and a couple of lovely greens in Magical pots and Shakers and whipped up this pretty little number!
Here are a few simple steps …
I started with a Prima Tag out of my stash – I have been hoarding these for years – and I gave it a light gesso. I then used a StencilGirl stencil and light modeling paste on the tag to create a pattern and give the Magicals a nice surface to grip into.
I then added color to the background but using a wash of four pinks and gently melding them together.
I colored the chipboard with Magicals as well before assembling them onto the tag.
My friend loves her card and it now takes pride of place on her wall in a frame.
