Hi beautiful Lindy’s friends!
Svetlana is here on the Lindy’s blog today to show you the process of creating a flowery layout. Firstly I made some flowers: just cut some petals out of cloth and sprayed them with Whale Watch Blue Shimmer Spray . Then I decided that these flowers are perfect to create something huge, and collected them onto the layout.
Process video so you can watch and create your own layout.
Basic Process
- Dye some pieces of cloth with Creme Brulee Cream Shimmer Spray, Cafe au Lait Flat Spray, Whale Watch Blue Shimmer Spray.
- Let them dry.
- While they are drying prepare some decorative elements.
- Cut some leaves with cutting dies and spray them with water.
- Spray Whale Watch Blue Shimmer Spray and Silent Night Silver Shimmer Spray
- Let them dry naturally
- Cover them with embossing powders: Clearly Clear EP, Don’t Scream Aquamarine Chunky EP.
- Cover the “frame” paper element with Don’t Scream Aquamarine Chunky EP partly.
- Cover a sheet of scrapbooking paper with transparent gesso.
- Add some stampings with archival inks.
- Apply 3D gloss gel through the stencil.
- Spray Buccaneer Bay Blue Vintage Spray over it and let it dry.
- Wind round some round bases with the stripes of cloth.
- Collect the composition, firstly, with bigger elements, then add smaller ones.
- Add some shadows and gold to the molds with Silent Night Silver Shimmer Spray, Creme Brulee Cream Shimmer Spray.
- Cover the top of the flowers with white gesso.
- Add some glitter with a glossy medium.
