
Hi everyone! Julia Kissel is here and I would like to show how to create a background on watercolor paper. We will be using beautiful Lindy’s Starburst Sprays: Cathedral Pines Green, Marigold Yellow Orange, Dark Chocolate Truffle, Autumn Maple Crimson Magical Shaker and U So Fine! Embossing Powders, as well as some stamps, embellishments, lovely paper come in handy… And the original funny card will be ready! Our work takes around one hour! Let’s go!

Basic process
- Cut out a piece of watercolor paper for the background
- Spray on the ink pad some Lindy’s Sprays, first Marigold Yellow Orange, then Cathedral Pines Green
- Apply the paper to the wet surface creating beautiful prints. Let it dry
- Spray brown Dark Chocolate Truffle on the ink pad and color the paper slightly again
- Color any few stamps you have on the Ink Spray Pad and make stamps on the background
- Make some additional stamped images using black ink
- Emboss some stamps using Wowzers White Detail EP of U So Fine set! EP Set
- Glue the background to a piece of contrast paper
- Attach a few pieces of lace randomly between layers of paper and sew along the edge
- Assemble all elements and adhere layers on white card stock
- Paint some elements Autumn Maple Crimson Magical Shaker to make the composition harmonious
