Simple Bright Card with Lindy’s Magical Set Autumn Leaves

Hello everyone! It’s Oleksandr Azarov and I’m glad to show you how to make a quick but attractive card. For the card, I took a piece of watercolor paper, washi tape, and a bright set of Magicals called Autumn leaves. (If you don’t know or feel unsure about the color combinations, you always can use the Lindy’s ready made sets: the colors there always match perfectly each other).

First, we fix the paper to the base (a glass mat in my case) with some washi tape all around the perimeter.

For the next step, I took a narrower tape and attached it making a geometric shape on my work surface.

Then I diluted Magicals using my palette ready to color in the diamond shapes. Colored the shapes randomly.

Now when all the shapes were colored set this piece aside to dry, or you can use a heat gun to speed up the process.

Next, I took off all the tape and had a very colorful background.

I die cut a word Hello out of white cardstock and heat embossed.

If you use glossy paper embossing it will end up looking like a glaze.
Tip: to heat emboss all of the tiny details I used a piece of cardstock as a handle.

Adhered the die-cut to it and covered with embossing powder.

I also heat embossed a sentiment Happy Autumn days, using gold embossing powder onto a piece of black cardstock.

Now when all of the elements were ready all that left to do was to assemble the card. I adhered a bright background to a white base, the sentiment-with some foam tape and the final touches were Now when all of the elements were ready all that left to do was to assemble the card. I adhered a bright background to a white base, the sentiment-with some foam tape, and the final touches were enamel dots.
