Hello everyone, I hope you all had a fabulous and magical Christmas! I have a new layout for you and I would love to show you how I’ve made it.
I started with some awesome Magical powders and a piece of 12×12 white cardstock. I colored the sheet with Stormy sky, evergreen emerald and mountain meadow from the Mountain Meadows Flat set but I also mixed in some Cathedral pines green Magical Shaker. I finished this piece with some gold splatters from Glitzy Magical Glitzy Gold and i love how it turned out!
I wanted to create a Christmas layout so I decided to use some dies for some leaves and branches. I love how the different colors worked on this. I also die cut some different sized stars for some more colorful details.
I grabbed a sheet of wood looking paper, some texture paste, and a stencil. I added some of the Glitzy Gold to the background and started to layer all of my die cut pieces close around my small picture. It shows some little Christmas gnomes.
I wanted to add some fake snow to some of the leaves, so I heat embossed them with Wowzers White Fine Embossing Powder. There are also some heat embossed stars, for these I used Chalk it up! from the You Rock chunky embossing powder set.
I added some golden puffy stickers between the paper die cuts, some little golden balls, and my title, on top of the heat embossed star. I also decided to splatter some more color around my design.
I really had fun with this project and I love how it turned out! This Christmas was very difficult but we enjoyed our time together and just made the best out of this situation… what about you? How was your Christmas?
