The Garden Frame with Julia Kissel

Hello dear crafty friends! Julia Kissel is here and I want to tell you about a garden… where I have been recently.  I saw a fox there who inspired me to create this project… I made a multilayer composition using various materials like paper, flowers and others. The background and frame painted using Lindy’s Magicals and 3D Matte Gel. The chipboard covered using Lindy’s Embossing Powders.

Watch step-by-step video below:

Basic process:

  1. Cover the background and frame with white gesso
  2. Glue a piece of a rice paper on wet background
  3. Mix apart 3D Matte Gel with Alexandra’s Artists Magical set – Jana’s Jade, Andrea’s Azalea, Bayou Boogie Gold
  4. Apply this mixture through a stencil on the background
  5. Paint the frame using the same Magical colors paint
  6. Make shadows using Blazing Black color from Neon Graffiti Flat Magical Set
  7. Cover the chipboard  using  Sunrise Salmon Gold, and Chalk It Up Embossing Powders
  8. Compile and glue the composition and our project is ready!
