Hello from Monika – Lindy’s Designer 2021

Hello lovelies,

My name is Monika Tripathi Shukla, born and raised in India, now residing in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In academics, I hold a degree of Ph.D. in Biotechnology and also worked as a researcher in India’s top most Agriculture Institution for more than 5 years. I am married to a very patient husband who understands me very well. I decided to be a full-time mother, when my son came into my world, so I’m now a crafter by profession. I started crafting in 2017 as my passion! My family motivates me a lot. My lovely siblings keep me inspired and on my toes in putting forward my best. My parents have always been part of me through thick and thin of my life.

I love traveling, listening to music, blogging, doodling and spending time outdoors with my family.

I love making cards, scrapbooks, layouts, handmade albums, mixed media art, 3D projects, art-journals, “Off the Page” creations, altered art and other art. I do not restrict myself to a certain style, for me art has always been about exploring new things. I am more into everything as everything around me draws my attention like shabby chic, grungy, rustic mixed media and DIY home decorations. I love experimenting with new styles when it comes to crafting. Up-cycling and designing home decor art pieces from any type scrap material, shabby chic style and mixed media have always been my strength. Paints and brushes are my all-time favorite, glimpses of which will be always there in my creations. I try to look for new inspirations and love to explore beyond my boundaries. I love colors, papers, vintage, flowers, textures, layers, stamps, dies, stencils, paints and inks.

I am so delighted to be here as Lindy’s designer, this is an incredible feeling. I have loved Lindy’s for a long time, I am so impressed by the unique qualities of Lindy’s Stamp Gang products. I love playing with colors and Lindy’s gives me the freedom to express my feelings in the most colorful and unique way as always. I am so much in love with them and their magic can be seen in most of my projects easily.
