Magical Mosaic Background withLindys Magicals and Jana

Hi everyone, I have a fun new project for you. There are many ways to add your Magicals to your papers, right?
I want to show you a fun technique that will leave you surprised and with a mosaic-like appearance!

I grabbed some of my favorite Magicals: Pretty in Pink pink, Kissin Kenickie coral, Cocklebells coral and Mango Mania.

You´ll also need a sheet of plastic or a glass matte (something that you can clean very easily) and some water in a distress sprayer. Add some of the dry powder to your surface and add lots of water to it. You need to see some kind of colored waterdrops, like in the picture.

If you want to give this a try, don´t use any gesso on your papers. We want the color to soak right into the paper, it´s like a stamped image. Grab a sheet of cardstock and press it gently on the wet surface. You also need to lift it up very carefully…

Can you see our awesome mosaic-like pattern here? Yes, there are also some messy areas but I totally love this effect!

I decided to go with color matching flowers and some black leaves around them. I grabbed a picture from me and Martina (aka Fr.Pony) from last year’s creative fair here in Germany, I loved talking to her.

I finished this project with black enamel dots, a stamped word and the word awesome. Some tissue paper behind my picture, a tag and a piece of patterned paper… last but not least two butterflies! I love how bright and happy this layout turned out!

I hope you´re inspired to give this technique a try. Please, don´t give up too quickly, it takes a bit of time and practice!
Thank you so much for stopping by today
