Mixed Media Altered Door with Neena

Hello sweets,

I’m Neena Arora is here with the first project designed for Lindy’s Gang. I hope to inspire you with my creations made with amazing Lindy’s gang products. I created a process video in which I will show you how I altered this door. I might use this door as a keyholder later by adding the hooks.

Process

I primed the door and other chipboard elements with white gesso. Next, I mixed the Rizzo’s rowdy red with texture paste and applied it through the stencil on the rectangular blocks. After it dried, I added crackle paste to the rest of the door panel. I have used Rudolph’s Nose Red, Prima Donna Purple, Red Hot Poker Orange, Peony Scarlet Red to color the panel to give beautiful shades. Next, I sprinkled Midnight Bronze and Pop Rock Purple embossing powder and heat embossed it.

I used the Greased Lightnin ‘Green, Peony Scarlet Red, Red Hot Poker Orange, Drop Dead Gorgeous Green, Ponderosa Pines Olive, shaker to colour the chipboards and die cuts. Next, I randomly heat embossed all the embellishments with Chalk it up embossing powder. And Merry-Go-Round Green Embossing Powder on the leaves die cuts.

I then, coloured the white flowers with chateau rose spray and shaded the center with Peony Scarlet Red. Next, I started building the composition by layering all the elements.  To adorn, I added some mini pearls, beads, sequins,  glitter on some parts and a quote. I added butterflies too.

Now the most important part, I sprayed the Sidewalk chalk spray, it works as tinny splatters on the composition on the embossed elements, and subtle the colors of the base too.

Here are some more photos for you:

Hope you enjoy the process of making it:
