Magical Mixed Media Moon by Marietta Tégi

Hello Everyone,

for something different today I have made a project on an MDF Moon shaped base.
The base was painted with white gesso, then I stenciled it with modeling paste which I mixed with Cattail Copper Brown magic powder.

After that crackle paste and white sand texture was applied on its surface.

On the crescent shape I used Time Travel Teal, T-bird Turquoise, Whale Watch Blue mist and I put a chipboard gear in the middle. First I applied crackle paste then I used Poinciana Red Flame, Bucket O’Blood Red and Grab A Guy Gold mist.

I cut it into 3 parts. On the edges, I used a liquid embossing bush, on which I sprayed Terra Cotta Rust and Midnight Pewter powder to make it more curved.

On the mold and Mitform Castings elements, I applied white gesso, then I picked and chose pigment powders (Industrial chic and Autumn leaves) from two different sets.

On the swirl chip boards I used Silver Moon Sapphire embossing powder.

I also made a step by step tutorial video about the creative process. You can find it here:

Have a nice day!
