Hello dear friends!
It’s Marina Ignatova here with my new project and video tutorial!
Are you loving Lindy’s sprays to use in your projects? I think this is an amazing universal tool with which you can create a background and paint the decor. Today I’d like to share with you how to use sprays to make a stunning colorful panel.
Here is my process video – hoping you’ll enjoy it!
Basic Process
- Prime the wooden base with a white gesso
- Apply here and there white crackle paste
- Mix art stones of various sizes with black gesso and soft gloss gel
- Apply to the bottom of the base
- Use a sponge, black and white gesso to make a gradient transition
- Sprinkle with Glory of the Seas Gold Shimmer Spray, Opal Sea Oats Shimmer Spray, Bling-y Blonde Shimmer Spray, Autumn Maple Crimson Shimmer Spray, Magnolia Magenta Gold Shimmer Spray, Prima Donna Purple Shimmer Spray
- Dry and repeat to make the colors more vibrant
- When dry, mix an texture paste with magicals, Autumn Maple Crimson Magical Shaker and Yodeling Yellow Magical Shaker, so you’ll get 2 kinds of mixture
- Apply those colored pastes through the stencil
- Then stamp the surface to add more interest
- To complicate the background, apply some graphite texture paste through a stencil. In some places, apply it simply with a palette knife
- Add splatters. I add Autumn Maple Crimson Shimmer Spray, Magnolia Magenta Gold Shimmer Spray, Prima Donna Purple Shimmer Spray
- Build up the composition and glue on all the embellishments
- At the final stap, add toppings and sparkles here and there, because the beauty lies in the details.
And some close-ups as a little inspiration
