Mixed Media Vintage Canvas by Marietta

Hello my creative friends,

This time I brought a vintage project for you.  Besides steampunk, this is one of my other favorite styles.

I used a 10×15 cm canvas as the foundation, on which I put Finnabair tissue paper, then I stenciled it using magical shakers (Frozen Jack Frost and Antique Gold) and moon shadow mist (Van Dykes Sepia) in addition to the light paste.  I placed a pink and silver shaded foil on it, which I smoothed in 1-2 places for the extra glitter. Then I applied a little bit of white gesso and crackling paste to it.

I sprayed 3 types of Moon Shadow mists on the ab studio gear chipboards: Van Dykes Sepia, Jolly Roger Red and Smoky Sapphire.
I also added a little Frozen Jack Frost magical shaker powder to it. I also blew the South Shore Sand and Frozen Jack Frost mist on the cogs. Finally, I highlighted it with Purely White and Cafe au Lait embossing powder.

I used Flat Fabio Hibiscus Rose and moon shadow mist in the shades of Jolly Roger Red on the mould elements.  I used AB studio cut-outs to complement it, so on the mould element’s color, I wanted to realize the same effect as you saw it on the flowers.  To intensify the vintage feeling I sprinkled some Chateau Rose embossing powder on the edges.
I embedded a ribbon under and around the photo and I put tiny laces on some places.
To finish, I complemented it with microbeads and mica powder.

I wish you all a nice day and lots of creative pastimes.
I hope you’ll find it inspiring. 🙂

Hugs: Marietta
