Postcard with watercolor flowers using Starburst sprays

Hello everyone! Today I am Oleksandr with you and we will create a card with watercolor flowers using Starburst sprays.

On watercolor paper, using stamps, transparent embossing ink and gold powder Gimme Five Gold Detail EP I stamp the image of flowers. I recommend using embossing when stamping images for coloring. This will help you get beautiful shades and transitions without the paint spreading.

Next, we move on to coloring. I start to paint with light tones, gradually add darker ones. I add each new color without waiting for the previous one to dry. For branches and leaves, I used:

I paint flowers according to the same principle, from light to dark. For the flowers, I chose:

Now that all the images are painted and dry well, I cut out.

On the base of the postcard, I applied an ornament and an inscription using a stamp, transparent ink and gold powder for embossing Gimme Five Gold Detail EP

In order to add color, I use transparent film. On the film, I applied a few drops of sprays (which I used to paint flowers) in random order and transferred them to the base by pressing the film against the paper and distributing the sprays. Now when all the components are ready, I glue the cut flowers to the base using volumetric tape. And now our postcard is ready.
