Hello everyone! Today it’s Oleksandr Azarov, with you on the blog, and we will create a card with a bright background and birds using Lindys Squirts. My postcard will be based on images of birds.
I paint the image of birds with a brush and squirt. I chose colors:
- Canadian Bacon Blush, Poutine Gold, Emerald Eh?!, Loonie Toonie Teal, Polite People Purple, Banff Blue
I will use them in the future to create the background.
While the image of the birds is drying, move on to the background. Using a stencil, I apply a texture paste to the base of the postcard, dry it. On the dried base, I apply bright colors of squirt in random order, blur the borders of the colors using water to get smooth transitions. Dry.
For brightness and shine, I decided to add embossing powder Silence is Golden Chunky EP to the background of the postcard. I apply transparent ink with a pad on the base in random order, remove excess, bake with a hairdryer.
I also decided to add a little powder for the embossing Madonna Robe Blue Gold EP to the birds. I applied the ink with a thin brush on the chest and not much on the wings to give more depth of color.
And now that all the components are ready, we just have to glue them onto our postcard. I glued all the elements using a volumetric foam tape.
