Hello! My name is Tracy Hickman and I live in Northern Michigan in the United States with my husband Chad and huge hairy Newfoundlands, Dawson shown here, and our new puppy, Duffy. I retired from a wonderful career in interior design in Chicago, Illinois to live full-time “up north” where we started Mammoth Distilling, an award-winning distillery crafting spirits with local grains.
I caught the art journaling bug several years ago after seeing Asia Marquet on the Lindy’s Gang YouTube Channel and down the rabbit hole, I dove! This creative practice has given me the confidence to explore all kinds of mediums more formally. I currently work in mixed media abstractly and explore more representational landscapes using gouache, pastel, cold wax and oil, encaustic and traditional oils.
I couldn’t be more thrilled to have been asked to be a part of the 2022 Design Team with such talents and love all things Lindy’s! My current obsession is with the Chunky Embossing Powders for the textures and effects they create. There is nothing like them out there.
