Postcard with colored cardboard and Starbursts shimmer sprays

Hi all! Today it’s Oleksandr Azarov with you on the Lindy’s Blog and we will create a postcard using colored cardboard and Starbursts shimmer sprays.

For the base of the postcard, I chose beige cardboard. On it, using a spray Opal Sea Oats Shimmer Spray and a wide brush, I draw horizontal stripes.

Now that the stripes are dry, I stamped the leaves using red ink and translucent embossing powder with a golden sheen Angel Wings Gold EP

Using the spray Creme Brulee Cream Shimmer Spray I paint over the image of the branches. For dark areas, I use a white gel pen.

The next step is to stamp the leaves on watercolor paper using gold embossing powder Gimme Five Gold Detail EP and clear ink.

Next, I paint the leaves using sprays:Hi Maintenance Magenta Shimmer Spray,  Drop Dead Gorgeous Green Shimmer Spray, Time Travel Teal Shimmer Spray. I paint in random order.

Using scissors and a craft knife, I cut out the leaves. And now, when all the components are ready, I glue the background to the base of the postcard, glue the leaves using bulk adhesive tape.
