Hi dear friends!
It’s Olga Ravenskaya here with my new project and video step-by-step.
I’ve created Old Castle panel inspired by Lindy’s incredibly beautiful October Color Challenge pallete.
Just a little reminder of our beautiful color combo. When I saw, it in my favorite shades of pink and grey, I immediately imagined something dreamy and romantic!
Here is my video tutorial, hoping you’ll enjoy it!
Basic Steps
- Glue on pieces of tissue paper on the surface using clear gesso and apply a layer of clear gesso above
- Randomly apply a white crackle paste and then apply a white modeling paste through the stencil to add beautiful texture
- Grab your Lindy’s sprays and using a thick brush add them above the texture mixing colors
- Dry well and then add the second layer spraying the same colors
- Use a dark color to add accents and shades to your texture
- Mix Glitzy Scintillating Silver Magical with a drop of water and add a beautiful silver shimmer to your background using a thin brush
- Paint the castings and chipboards with Magicals using a brush and randomly cover them with Scintillating Silver Magical
- Paint your die cuts – just spray a couple of colors on them
- Add stamping to the background using water-resistant black ink
- Build up the composition and glue on all the elements
- Add a bit of topping if needed
And some close-ups as a little inspiration
