Hello everyone,
I am totally excited to be a new member of Lindy’s family and here is my first tutorial using amazing Lindy’s products.
Description of the process:
I began with spraying watercolor paper with Bling-y Blonde, Rusty Lantern Lime and Drop Dead Gorgeous Green Shimmer Sprays, adding some Gleaming Gold Magical on top. I allowed the paper to dry and then made all colorful die-cuts which furthermore were covered with Angel Wings Gold EP from Drink Me Silly EP set. The main element of the card was also covered with this EP.
All the chip elements and balcony die-cut were covered with white gesso and Chalk It Up EP, except the “negative” of the chipboard which was used as a base for the card.
The “negative” of the chipboard was covered with white gesso and afterwards sprayed with Cattail Copper Brown and Narwhal Navy (from Arctic Adventures set) Shimmer Sprays. Then I added some Paper Texture paste using stencil and sprinkled with Groovy Granite and Silence is Golden EPs while paste was still wet. I used a heat gun to melt the embossing powder, but before using it I waited till the paste got dry. Since I put the paste on the surface which was colored with sprays, the paste picked up some the background colors.
I also used a “transparent background” as one of the layers beneath the “negative” of the chip. This background was decorated with modeling paste, which was added using stencil. One part of the modeling paste was mixed with some sand and Black Hole Black Magical, ant another part was mixed with sand and Manta Ray Gray Sifter.
After I got all my elements prepared, I glued them together, added some flowers and made a final coloring with Cosmopolitan Pink Spray using a brush. I added some color to the flowers and some splashes on the card. I also added toppings and my card was ready.
