Playing With Blue and Pink in Morning Bird Mixed Media Tag with Anastasia

Hello everyone, It’s Anastasia here! In this project, I’ve played with one of my favorite color combinations creating color transitions and adding textures using embossing powders.

Basic steps:

1. First I made a background pattern using a stencil and a 3D Gloss Gel
2. I’ve dried it well and covered it with White Gesso
3. Then I built the composition using mold casts and covered elements with White Gesso
4. I started applying the color from the middle of the tag moving towards the edges – Hydrangea Blue Shimmer Spray, Bachelor Button Blue Shimmer Spray, T-Bird Turquoise Flat Spray, Outer Space Aqua Shimmer Spray, Cocklebells Coral Shimer Spray, Rumblin’ Rose Pink Shimmer Spray
5. I’ve covered the upper part of the elements with Pink Ladies Pink Flat Spray
6. Paper stripes I’ve covered with Rumblin’ Rose Pink Shimmer Spray and then added Cleopatra’s Copper and Purely White embossing powders
7. In the central part of the tag I’ve added the Twilight Blue Slate ep, in the pink zones – Cleopatra’s Cooper ep and on the bird Angel Wing Gold ep
