Mixed Media Card with Magical Shakers by Ericka

Hello gang, Ericka here and today I am using the gorgeous Tea & Crumpet Magical Shakers set to make a mixed media card. Have I mentioned how much I love this set and all the 12 beautiful colors that can be used in so many ways? There is no end to the wonderful ways you can use these shakers! Now on to the steps to create my mixed media card.

Basic Steps:
1. Stamp and clear emboss the image on Bristol Smooth paper. I used the Visible Image A Friend Like You.

2. Apply Lindy’s Magical Shakers directly on the background. Lightly spritz the powder with water to move the colors around. I then used a small piece of plastic to smoosh the color randomly around my background. Dry and repeat with a second color.  Dry again and use the leftover color to add smaller dots of color. I used:

3. After full drying,I color up the vase and flower. I added blue in my vase along with some Crumpet Crumbs onto my flower.

4.Grab your favorite stencil ( I used the Visible Image Off The Grid) and embossing paste and add some color to the texture paste. I used Crumpet Crumbs for a light color. Take a pallet knife and apply the colored texture paste to the dry background.

5. Wait for the texture paste to dry. Add Glossy Accents to the stamped flower and vase. Stamp the sentiment and clear emboss it on a separate piece of paper. I also like to add black ink around the edge of my sentiment and card base to help it pop.  Attach the sentiment, with foam tape, to the card.

I love the gorgeous colors the Tea & Crumpets Magical Shakers and how easy it is to create with these powders. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful week,

Ericka
