How Twilight Blue Slate Embossing Powder Works on Variously Surfaces – Mixed Media Tag by Anastasia K.

Hello everyone! Anastasia is here. In my new project – Royal Botanical mixed media tag, the most important ingredient is one of my favorite Twilight Blue Slate powders. I would like to show you how it looks beautiful on various surfaces.

Basic steps of creating tag:

  1. Prepare the base.

I covered it with white acrylic paint and then embossed pattern with Twilight Blue Slate ep. Then I applied the spray from top to bottom in the following order: Greased Lightnin’ Green, Green With Envy Green, Tainted Love Teal, Afternonn Delight Denim

2. Work with mould casts.

I applied on them distress oxide, then added a bit of Green With Envy Green spray and after everything dried very well I added embossing powder. Take a look, it looks like an old stone surface!

3. Work with paper elements and chipboard.

I colored elements using Time Travel Teal, Afternoon Delight Denim, Peony Scarlet Red sprays and distress pads. After that I added Twilight Blue Slate and was absolutely amazed at how beautiful and different this powder looks on blue, pink and yellow surfaces!

I hope my project will inspire you to experiment with this powder!
