Colorful card By Elena Zemlyanskaya

Hello all! Today I’m going to show you a new card I’ve made for this month’s color challenge.

Are you already in love with our April pallete? I bet you are, and so am I!  The inspirational picture is so full of color, so bright and sunny! Looking at it you can’t but start thinking about spring :). Sunny weather, warm wind, blooming flowers and trees… Well actually spring is a bit late this year here in Minsk, so I’m already waiting for it to finally come!

And surely I made my card thinking of spring 🙂The main idea was to make a card not on the watercolor paper base as I usually do. I wanted to make layers of scrapbooking paper, and add sprays to them. This is why I covered my paper base with Golden regular gel. The gel is transparent, so all the paper prints are well-seen through it; at the same time, the gel works like a cover, and preserves the paper from soaking and deformation when you add sprays.

You can see what I did step by step in the video on the Lindy’s Youtube Channel. Make sure you subscribe to the channel, so you don’t miss out on any of the tutorials the other designers and I upload weekly!

Of course, I couldn’t have made my card without amazing Lindy’s Stamp Gang products:

Tilt-a-wheel Teal spray

Pink Ladies Pink spray

Summer Lovin’ Sun spray

Magnolia Magenta Gold spray

You can purchase all these sprays as a set in April!

I also used Sunset Yellow orange embossing powder, which is included in April MEGA set

To add some more shimmer to my project, I took Azure Sea Asters starburst spray, and Frozen Jack Frost was used to lighten some parts of background.

As a decoration, I added some die-cuts, chipboard, brads and stickers, as well as some raffia and ribbon.

Here are some more close-up pictures of the card:

I wish you lots of inspiration and can’t wait to see your beautiful projects in our April challenge!

Hugs,

Elena
