Elena is here with you today, and I would like to show you a very quick and fun technique of stenciling with Magicals.
All you need is some paper or cardstock, a Magical of your favorite color, a brush (I use watercolor brush, love to use it with Magicals) and a stencil.
First fix your cardstock and stencil with some pieces of sticky tape.
And just start filling the space between stencil parts with Magical. I used Sea Mint Green color here.
Do not fill all the space, leave some white places. Make sure your stencil isn’t moving while you are applying the Magical.
When you are done with color, just remove the stencil. You will get nice watercolor pattern:
It is also possible to apply a number of colors, one after another. I took this beautiful leaves stencil and two Magicals: Glory of the Seas Gold and Red Hot Pocker Orange
I applied Glory of the Seas Gold first
Then I added the second, darker color Red Hot Poker Orange on some points
And this is how it looks after the stencil removed:
I used this background to make a card inspired by beautiful September pallettte in Lindy’s Stamp Gang blog. I also used Tibetan Poppy Teal Starburst spray and Sidewalk Chalk Spray
You still have a couple of days to join us in September Color challenge! Hurry up and get inspired!
Hugs
Elena
