Multy Layer Vintage Tag using Lindy’s Magicals with Nuneka

Hello crafty friends!!
I keep exploring my vintage side, giving it my personal twist and wondering if vintage can be multicolor… and it can!!! Join me through the layers of this project and discover with me all the amazing effects you can achieve with Lindy’s.

I started stamping an image on watercolor paper and coloring it using Magicals as watercolors. It’s so satisfying to give life to a black and white image and create lists, shadows and shimmer effects! I used Time Travel Teal, Sea Grass Green, Sandra Dee Sepia, Andrea’s Azaleas, Salt Water Taffy, Bayou Boogie Gold and Karin’s Coral. Once it was dry I fussy cut it and got it ready for the last layer.

I used the same Magical colors to liven up some die cut pieces. I just sprinkle a tiny amount of powder and sprayed water, letting Magicals do their magic… the rainbowish multicolor effect was exactly what I wanted. I let them dry and worked on the paper layers in the meantime. On the first piece of paper, I stamped some writing with embossing ink and added Lindy’s detail embossing powder Gimme Five Gold and Cool Man Copper. As the paper was dark, I got a really dramatic and showy effect.

But I wanted something else on that layer, so I sprinkled Time Travel Teal to make it match with the rest of the project. On the second piece of paper I stamped a flourish stamp and added Cosmic Pink Blue embossing powder and Of Quartz it is chunky embossing powder, I thought pink would be a nice contrast and a bright touch. The third piece of paper has some stamping in gold ink.

With all the pieces ready I just had to build the layers and glue the die cut pieces. As a focal point I used a photo I printed and fussy cut, I placed it on top of everything. Some extra details such as eyelets and ribbon, vintage tickets and a clip, some string and white splatters and the tag was done!
