It’s Anat here with a new video tutorial creating a Mixed Media Art Journal spread using Lindy’s Sprays and fine embossing powders .
So let’s start…
Basic Process
- Adhere tissue paper to the spread using soft gel, brush over the tissue paper a layer of soft gel
- Add White crackle paste using a Harlequin stencil
- Add colors with Lindy’s Sprays: Jazzy Jivin Purple, Open arms Amethyst, Bougainvillea Fuchsia
- Add some stamping using Black archival Ink
- Give the texture a thin layer of dry brush white gesso
- Stamp over lace paper die-cuts, using embossing pad and Cool Man Copper Embossing Powder
- Color the lace papers with Lindy’s Sprays: Moonlit Mulberry, Jazzy Jivin Purple, Fuzzy Navel Peach
- Adhere the colored die-cuts to the spread
- Add small embellishments like tags, images and chipboards
- Make the sentiments yourself with stamps and Boogie Down Black details Embossing powder
- Finally add white splashes to the spread and it’s ready
