Hello Gang!
It’s Rita here on the Lindy’s blog and this time I came with Free as a Wind canvas colored using Lindy’s Magical Shakers, Sprays and Embossing Powders.
Description of the process:
- I started with covering all the canvas with white gesso and allowed it to dry.
- Afterwards, I glued some lace on canvas and covered it with black gesso.
- After everything got dry I covered the lace with white gesso revealing its texture. I also added some texture paste through the stencil.
- I colored the background with Sprays Grab a Guy Gold, Screamin’ Banshee Black and Incandescent Copper.
- I used embossing powders Bougainvillea Red Teal and Terra Cotta Rust for the die-cut element and used Alive & Kissing Cobalt Magical Shaker to color a piece of paper and make a die-cut element from it.
- I colored a small heart with black gesso first and then with white gesso adding Rudolph’s Nose Red Spray on top. I also added some waxes to reveal its texture.
