Mixed Media Tag by Pascale

Today I’m up on Lindy’s Gang blog with a new step-by-step project a beautifully simple mixed-media tag colored with Lindy’s products.

I die cut a tag in a cardboard that I covered with a scrapbook paper. When done, I covered it with clear gesso.
Next, I added a design with a stencil and paper paste. You can use any paste you want at this step.

I sprinkled Lapis Lazuli Blue Gold and King Midas Gold onto the wet paste. I embossed them with my heat gun.
Next, I add some colors with Whale Watch blue and Grab a Guy Gold.

I die cut some leaves in a watercolor paper that I colored with Golden Doubloons and Grab a Guy Gold. While the inks were still wet I sprinkled the same embossing powders I used on the paper paste. I heat set these as well.
I also colored a resin frame with the Golden Doubloons and Grab a Guy Gold.

I glued on all the embellishments with a heavy body gel. I added different sizes of Art Stones in some place as well as some mica flakes and microbeads.
I colored two pieces of ribbon with Whale Watch Blue and Grab a Guy Gold to add to the tag.
