Hello! Yulianna Efremova here and I’m going to show you how to decorate a mixed media Christmas Collage using Christmas decorations as embellishments and Starburst Sprays from Lindy’s. I’ll walk you through how to create this step by step.
I used Starbursts: Freaky Franken’ Lime, Marigold Yellow Orange, Delphinium Turquoise and Embossing Powder: Bonjour Butter, Cuckoo Clock Cardinal to create my mixed media Christmas Collage.
Steps for Creating your own Mixed Media Christmas Collage
First I pasted wrapping paper, threads and the stitched pieces of kraft paper onto my canvas.
I covered the collage with white gesso, but not all of it – leave a little kraft color peeking through.
I sprayed Freaky Franken’ Lime, Marigold Yellow Orange, and Delphinium Turquoise over the background .
I covered the chipboard with embossing powder in Bonjour Butter, and Cuckoo Clock Cardinal.
To finish, I pasted chipboard, baubles (ball decorations), and added some snow with a texture paste and sprinkled with sparkles.
And you have a snowy, Christmas canvas and a unique gift!
So you can see exactly what to do, I have filmed a video showing how you can make this step-by-step, you can watch it below or on the Lindy’s YouTube Channel.
