Blue Basket with Starburst Sprays by Hadry DC

Hi Lindy´s lovers!  Hadry 🙋🏻‍♀️ here on the blog today with a new tutorial!

Today I’ll show you how to alter a basket with the help of Lindy’s Starburst Sprays.

Summer is coming and I personally love wicker baskets, so for this new project I have altered a small basket, it has stopped being bland and boring by using the wonderful Starburst Sprays in blue tones.

In case you haven’t noticed, I love cold tones and especially the range of blues.😉

BASIC PROCESS:

• Add a layer of gesso clear.
• Dry well.
• Add the sprays, first the lightest to the darkest.
  • Sassy Saphire
  • Whale Watch Blue
  • Tainted Love Teal 
  • Galactic Teal
• Dry well.
• Add Moon Shadow Mist at the top of the basket.
  • Buccaneer Bay Blue
• Add Splashes with Glitzy Magicals.
  • Glitzy Gold
• For the decoration use a ribbon, rope and some flowers that I have colored with the same sprays.
• Add Matte wax in color “Old White”.
