Here is a little write up on how France created these amazing effects using Flat Shots and Magicals.
“The background is made of Chateau Rose Flat Shot applied over a stencil and undiluted Mango Mania. The gears are canvas die cuts, colourized with Autumn Maple Crimson Magical mixed with water. I also mixed the same Magical with modeling paste and applied it over a punchanella across the page.”
