Hi all – it’s Asia Szczurowska here today on the Lindy’s blog to show you a simple way to add color to your chipboard pieces using Lindy’s Magicals. Do you color cardboards? It’s really simple 🙂
You just to cover chipboard with white gesso and then used your favorite magical or magical shakers:) At the end of this post you can find video tutorial. Unfortunately I didn’t record the entire process of making the card, but you can see how I colored the cardboard.
Basic steps:
- I cut two sheets of paper, smaller than the base paper: standard white paper and a smaller one made of watercolor paper.
- I covered the edges of standard paper with embossing ink and I used Tannenbaum Green Gold EP
- I created background using Greased Lightnin’ Green, ROLL IN THE HAY (Vinny’s View flat Shaker 5-pack) and GUSTAV’S GOLD LEAF (Kissing Klimt flat Shaker 5-pack).
- I covered chipboard with white gesso and waited for it to dry.
- I played with BRING THE HOUSE DOWN BROWN and CAFE TERRACE TANGERINE (Vinny’s View flat Shaker 5-pack), Sandra Dee Sepia ( Greased Lightnin’ Green) and IMPRESSIONIST INK (MONET ALL DAY 5-PACK)
